Filipa Saraiva dos Santos, born in Vila Real (2001), seeks to adress the intersection between painting and Pop culture, searching to adress how the frontiers between high and low culture may merge together. The artist is highly influenced by the digital and the artificiality of the japanese Pop universe and by the cartoons she grew up with, that mold her current artistic practice, using digital illustration, painting and collage as her main creative tools.
